‘I’ll Make You Proud’ is probably the most personal song I’ve written so far. It's about the loss of someone very dear to me.
She was diagnosed with cancer in April. The prognosis did not look good, but we promised each other to live many more beautiful moments together. Unfortunately we are not granted that time. We had to say goodbye to her in June.
